Accessible Exhibition Design

Accessible Exhibition Design

Get creative with aesthetic accessible exhibitions!

Ths workshop is designed for art galleries and museums to support embedding key accessible design concepts in exhibitions and programming.

Reconceptualise how new and diverse audiences can engage with exhibitions by embedding access from the start. Learn about creative experimentation, disability consultation and programming artists with disability.

Discover practical and accessible exhibition design solutions, drawing insights from wide-reaching resources and examples from around the world.

We’ll outline how to develop access guidelines and provide details on accessible information formatting, gallery maps, exhibition seating, labels and signage, lighting, sound, audio and more.
