We’re presenting a free Advance Your Career workshop for artists and arts workers with disability or who are d/Deaf.

In partnership with the National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA), this workshop introduces key tools from the Code of Practice for Visual Arts, Craft and Design, a sector-wide resource that provides minimum standards and guidance for fair and ethical working relationships.

We’re delighted to announce the ten talented artists with disability accessing professional mentorships through our 2026 Next Level Creative Mentorship program.

Skye Bee, Ella Buckley, Tarsha Cameron, DEFNE, Ted Duffell, Ryan Enniss, Chelsea Turner, Jess Turner, Bonnie Williams and Bianca Yeung will each receive a mentorship within a leading performing arts organisation and $3000 in project funding to develop an innovative new project.

We can’t wait to see how each of these talented artists takes their projects to the Next Level!

Applications are now open for the 2026 Ripple: Disability and Culturally Diverse Internship Program.

Run by Accessible Arts in partnership with Diversity Arts Australia, this exciting program will take place across NSW) and ACT in 2026.  

This unique paid initiative is open to applicants who identify as both culturally diverse and d/Deaf, Disabled and/or Neurodivergent. 

Applications close Monday 27 April 2026.

Our upcoming event will focus on First Nations storytelling as a central platform for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultures, Identity and Empowerment.

The Access Ideas and Insights panel will explore Storytelling as a living knowledge system – one that sustains First Nations Cultures, including language and traditional practices, while respectfully shaping community connection and advocating for collective responsibility.

The line-up of knowledgeable speakers includes Aretha Brown, Akala Newman and Daniel McDonald, with MC Colin Kinchela.
